Welcome to Hobart College

Hobart College is a co-educational senior high school for students in Years 11 and 12 (ages 16 – 19). Set amongst beautiful bushland, the school is a pathway for students to qualify for university, pursue further vocational education and training or enter employment.

When students enrol at Hobart College, they join a strong and supportive learning community with a long history of tradition, diversity and excellence. PARENT INFORMATION EVENING

Coming up in Term 3 on Tuesday 30 July is our annual Parent Information Evening where prospective students can find out about our enrolment process.

This event also includes information about the TCE, TASC/VET courses, and the ATAR. Parents, carers and prospective students will have the opportunity to speak with teachers about courses they are interested in. See our course and information guides below and start planning your 2025!

The 2025 Hartz Collective Course Guide is now available! This publication contains the Hartz Collective schools* course offerings for 2025. This is the only guide you need to help you on your pathway into Year 11 and 12 within the Hartz Collective.

Awards Evening for 2023 Achievers

On Wednesday, 27 March, we held our annual Awards Evening where we celebrated the achievements of our 2023 student cohort. It was a fantastic night of celebration with over 200 individual student academic, cultural and sporting achievements recognised in front of family, friends and staff.
